I am a travelling complementary therapist and my treatments include Indian Head, Reiki, Reflexology, Holistic, No Hands and Swedish techniques, Aromatherapy Massage and Craniosarcal Therapy (CST). I also work from the Blue Lotus (in Scorrier Redruth) or Country Stores Health Foods (also in Redruth).
My passion to want to help people with all type of conditions and illness has driven me to open a drop in clinic with treatment prices to cater for people who need or want complementary therapy that are on low incomes. The drop in clinic is on Tuesdays between 10am – 12pm at the Country Store Health Foods.
These treatments include:
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) – The essence of listening to the body's pulsations and patterns of motions through the practitioners hands. It helps the body reflect to heal itself. Indian Head Massage – This can restore energy as well as settle the mind, which could improve concentration levels; to help you focus. It could also reduce mental, physical and emotional stress caused by everyday living.
Reflexology – This therapy can release tension and remove blockages, allowing this energy to flow freely again to promote healing of both relaxation and stimulation, which has a balancing effect.
Reiki – This is about working with the universal energy to re-line and bring balance back to the body and mind. It can help with mental and emotional complaints and compliments orthodox medicine. I have often found the need to use a mix of the therapies above to gain the result the clients body needs.

This has helped me develop a better understanding of how to help cancer patients and palliative care with therapy. I am looking to work as a volunteer with another charity in Cornwall, Pampering Individuals with Cancer in Kernow (P.I.C.K). This is to gain further knowledge improving me even further as a therapist.I have been living in Cornwall for the last three years and obtained a Complementary Therapy Foundation Degree in 2008. Along side this I gained ITEC qualifications in Anatomy and Physiology, Reflexology, Holistic Massage and Aromatherapy. Before I moved to Cornwall I lived in Walsall where I became interested Sport and Fitness and qualified with a VTCT diploma in Sport and Fitness Therapy, Swedish and Indian Head massage as well as level 3 YMCA in Nutrition. Also I study Counselling Skills at level 2, which in the future I will be looking at developing further.I have a special interest in the spiritual aspects of complementary therapy looking at the connection of an individual's body, mind and spirit. If you would like to have a therapy then contact me.
