Computers--with-Hem._200px_jpg

With Nepal being the 3rd poorest country in the world, getting an education can be hard work and with about 92 students per class, students could do with all the help they can get. Thanks to ‘a man that knows a man that does’, 21 computers are ready to fly to Nepal – however they need wings!

Ramprasand Sharma at Balti Curries in Falmouth (www.baltifalmouth.co.uk) always finds time for Charity work. He has raised cash for an ambulance as well as a fire engine for Nepal as well as dental aid, cash to help those affected by the Asian Tsunami Disaster flood victims too. His philanthropy does not stop there as he has helped Oxfam and the Falmouth Weather Station locally. His newest venture is a school called Chitwun in Nepal where he has managed to gather 21 computers to provide assistance in educating those at School there.

He spoke to Jason Roberts of Steps to wellness  (www.stepstowellness.co.uk) telling him of his latest venture who then arranged to collect 21 computer towers for Nepal from Paul Parry who is the network manager at Falmouth School.

I asked Ramprasand why he is so dedicated to giving to those in Nepal, he replied that ‘little help here is big help there’, with his Country in his heart he considers his presence in Cornwall as a way to provide.

Hem now has the computers to give to Nepal however getting them there is the next task, which must be done either by sea or air. Ramprasand and Jason are now concentrating on contacting Airplane and Ferry companies to deliver the computers.

Can you help in delivering them; do you ‘know a man that can’? Please contact Jason on 07834 987 330.
